Webinar Replay - Investing in a child's education - are you missing an opportunity? (Australian Unity)

Australia has one of the best education systems in the developed world - but are you ready to help your clients navigate the financial decisions along the way?

This is a recording of the Webinar that Ryan did on behalf of Australian Unity, for the Advice Movement on the 27th of February, 2020. Below is just some of what we covered in the Webinar:

Australia has one of the best education systems in the developed world - with lots of options available across the education journey from kindergarten through to tertiary, with options to suit all family types and budgets. However, the cost of education can now be considered as one of life’s major expenses like buying a home or saving for retirement.

So why is it that most Financial Planners don't list "Education Planning" as part of their standard value proposition to GenXY clients?

Simple really they don't have a tried and tested advice strategy that they know will help them navigate a very emotive conversation with their clients, ultimately leading to some great personalised advice.

In this webinar Ryan will:
• Discuss the rising costs of education, the concerns and complacency often involved with education funding and discuss some of the traditional education funding methods.
• Provide a recap on Investment Bond and some of the common misconceptions.
• Discuss Education Bonds and some of the differences to traditional investment bonds.
• Explore a case study with the group considering how Investment Bonds and specifically Education Bonds may provide a solution in preparing for future education costs.
