Demand for digital services was already on the rise, with the nation embracing streaming services like Netflix, but the digitisation of some industries were lagging. With the shock of Covid-19 consumers have flocked to online virtual meet-ups, online shopping, online health services and other digital only services. As a result, client expectations will never be the same.

In this session, Netwealth will consider how this has impacted the way we work, the way we consume, the way we play and how we interact with one another.

We will draw on research from Netwealth’s 2020 AdviceTech Report and explore practical tips for advice firms take advantage of AdviceTech to help them shift from an exclusively face-to-face client engagement model, to an interface-to-interface model.

About Andrew...

I am a digital pioneer having worked in a number of successful start-ups as well as digital business units of some of Australia’s largest corporates.

I was consulting to corporates about websites well-before they even knew what a website was. I had an Apple IIe when I was 9. I joined Facebook 10 days after it was launched. I have lived and breathed the life of a technology start-up (a number of times) developing mobile websites (in WAP and later Flash) and created disruptive business models. I have business led the development of websites, email systems, CMS systems, mobile websites, banking & accounting software, portals, intranets. And today, I am leading the marketing endeavours of a fast-growing FinTech.

I continually research the digital behaviours of consumers and businesses…what they consume online, why they consume it, where they consume it and with what device.

I am passionate about how the internet and new technologies influence us, our relationships and how we do business.
